Diversity at KareHero

Our goal is to maintain a safe, helpful, and friendly  environment for all — regardless of experience, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality, class, or other defining characteristics.

We’re inclusive

The KareHero team represents multiple forms of diversity. We're committed to fostering an environment where everyone is valued and respected, and feels a sense of belonging across — not in spite of — our unique identities. Team members are expected to contribute to a culture of inclusion in their interactions with others. We recognise that we can only realise our inclusion and equity goals and commitments by explicitly addressing systems of prejudice and exclusion. In order to create a truly inclusive and equitable environment, we must first acknowledge, confront, and combat systems and experiences of  inequality. We expect all KareHero team members to practice self-awareness and social responsibility in intersectional issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We’re anti-harassment

KareHero provides a harassment-free learning environment for everyone, regardless of: Gender, Gender identity, Gender expression, Age, Sexual orientation, Disability, Physical appearance, Body size, Race, Ethnicity, Native language, Religion, or lack thereof, Class, Neurodiversity, and Mental Health.

Harassment includes: Offensive verbal or written comments related to any of the above, sexual images in public spaces including online, deliberate intimidation, physical and virtual, unsolicited photography or recording, sustained disruption, inappropriate physical contact and online equivalent, unwelcome sexual attention.
